Kahea: Call To Action

Honoring Our Heritage

Hui Iwi Kuamo'o is a grass roots volunteer organization whose members are devoted to caring for and protecting Iwi Kupuna (ancestral bones), cultural/burial sites & Moepu (funerary objects).  Our  team is made up of members of the lāhui (community)  many of whom have over 30 years of experience with this work.  Our purpose is to first educate all of Hawaii residents  & visitors to be involved with the protection of Iwi Kupuna while encouraging all Kanaka Maoli and allies to remain vigilant  with ongoing Iwi Kūpuna (Ancestral Bones) concerns.
